Projects that I am abandoning immediately: the fevered idea I had last night of a mashup of Rihanna’s “Russian Roulette” (a terrible, offensive song!) with this version of Giacomelli’s “Sposa non mi conosci,” a song (in this incarnation) of a spurned husband, and so, if you do not know it, you must hear it sung by Philippe Jaroussky, because, hoooo my God. (And although I’m very pleased about the tone and key matchup I finally arranged, seriously this is going nowhere.)
