Greatest sandwich ever (DISCLAIMER since I discovered roasting my own yellow tomatoes on my own semolina bread back in the hot summer of ‘03).“Problem”: every sandwich on the menu at Saltie sounds so good it’s hard to know what to order. Solution: if you order the “mystery sandwich,” the person making the sandwiches looks at you for a moment, sizes you up, and then makes whichever of the sandwiches she thinks you deserve.
