Eggs is for Eggstraordinary

Why aren’t there poems written and songs sung about how awesome eggs are? They sure don’t cost a lot, they come in packs of 12, they are filled with protein, and they are easy to make (have you fried an egg lately? It’s impossible to screw up). Also? You can eat them for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. How many other food groups — besides Wheat Thins - is this true of?  It’s 8 p.m. and you’re on your couch, in your house pants, and you can’t be bothered to cook and are too poor to order in: Make yourself an omelet, throw some greens on the side, and if you happen to have a bottle of red wine lying around you can pretend you just spent 26 bucks at Balthazar.
