After about a year’s worth of deliberation I have decided that this is my favorite track from my favorite album of 2011.

Oh me too. There is no other.

This is secretly why Alex Balk and I hate each other. Each year—well, 1998, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2008, plus EPs in 2009 and 2010 and now an album in 2011—whatever Destroyer album came out is our #1 album of the year. But he always get the song wrong. Clearly “Poor in Love” and “Blue Eyes” are tied for the best song on “Kaputt.” I don’t remember what we disagreed about in 2007 and 2003 though.
